Music Project

Emily:

Unlike many musicians, I decided to start music theory and piano lessons quite late (around 16). Here is a video of my very first audition, somewhat hesitant... Finding few freedoms and means to express myself in my music school, I decided to continue as an autodidact.

After posting a few videos where I received lots of encouraging feed backs, I looked for a new way to challenge myself. Lock down and 7m2 oblige, I go around in circles looking for how to occupy my days. It was then that I decided to use the piano a little to accompany my voice and offer content that was a little more “pro”.

Adventure Lover, I went to Italy for 4 months as a sports leader. Every Saturday evening, we, hosts, had to put on a show, and that's when I took my first solo steps on stage in front of hundreds of people... That's for sure a change from my little bedroom! After the first shaky minutes, I took a liking to it and enjoy it more and more each week. On my return to France, thirst for challenge again, why not more?

I'm getting into my first text, after hours of hanging out on YouTube during confinement, I had prepared a playlist of prod that I liked and that matched my style. I take a piece of paper and decide to write over it, listening to it over and over again (until it pops out of my eyes). I was obsessed with my little project, what could I tell? Then I found that it was the perfect opportunity to put into words the emotions that a young woman of my age could feel. You just have to let yourself be guided and you can sometimes be surprised by yourself.
